Meet Our Team

If you have been a customer of Hansen Heating, Plumbing and Air for the last 21  years.  You might know Shane and Deb’s son, Brad! Brad started working at Hansen part time when he was 15, learning the ins and outs of HVAC and Plumbing with Shane.  Brad became EPA certified and a licensed HVAC technician in 2004 and a licensed plumber in 2011. Brad does some industrial and commercial heating and plumbing, but mostly works in the residential areas around Huntley.

He is married with two sons and resides in Huntley. Brad enjoys fishing with his sons and taking trips with his wife. He looks forward to their annual summer trip up north to the lake or to the beach.

Brad likes working at Hansen because he gets to learn on the job everyday. Every day is different which allows him to work on something new and different which Brad enjoys.

Sean is a Huntley High School Graduate and has been working for Hansen since September of 2022.  He is universally certified and is working towards his license.  When Sean isn’t working out in the field, he enjoys spending time with his 2 brothers, dog and girlfriend. You may see him around town riding his motorcycle or relaxing at the pond fishing.

Sean’s favorite thing about working for Hansen is that every day the job is different.

Shane is the owner of Hansen, Heating, Plumbing & Air.  He has owned

Bruce is one of our technicians that is licensed in both HVAC, Plumbing and Navien Tankless Water Heaters.  He has been working with us since November of 2016.  Bruce and his wife are big animal lovers. They have 2 dogs, Iris & Maggie, and 4 cats, Leo, Maverick, Rizzo & Allie. On his off time, he enjoys fishing, playing the guitar and running.  If he can get out on his boat and catch a sunrise on the water, Bruce is a happy guy!

Bruce enjoys working with Hansen because he has the ability to always make someone’s day better by fixing their problem and being able to improve on a bad situation that someone may be having. He is a people person and likes working for people. He respects their home and always tries to leave it in as good of condition as it was or even better.  He tries his best everyday.  If you know our Bruce, you might have been in the line of fire of one of his “dad” jokes or enjoyed a laugh with him.

Eric was hired as one of our technicians in February of 2022.  Eric earned his HVAC/R Installation Certificate from the College of Lake County. He also has his Residential Heating Technician Certificate as well. He is one of our licensed apprentices and is certified with Universal Refrigerant Handling. If you have had the pleasure of chatting with Eric on any of his calls, you might have learned that he likes video games and Marvel and Star Wars movies. 

Eric enjoys working at Hansen Heating, Plumbing & Air because most days are never the same.  He likes that we have a family environment within the company. He enjoys being able to trouble shoot and solve problems out in the field.
